E-rostering adviser (Fixed Term) based at Epworth House, Derby
Salary £31,495 going up to £32,995 after successful probation, normally 6 months.
Available Hours: 37 hours per week Monday – Friday
This is a fixed term position for up to 12 months.

MHA currently has an exciting opportunity for an E-Rostering Adviser to join the UK’s largest Charity care provider. You will be working within the HRIS team to ensure core rosters Inc. of working patterns are uploaded within agreed timetable for all MHA Care Homes and Retirement Living Schemes using the rostering module within MHA’s HR & Payroll System, iTrent. The role plays an integral part in ensuring that our HR and Payroll system is effectively paying colleagues, supporting departmental objectives, lean processes and facilitating the best service delivery to our operational colleagues.
Role responsibilities:
- Working on own initiative, assist operational colleagues in building the required core rosters and ensure they are uploaded into iTrent within agreed timetable and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Work with HRIS colleagues to understand, maintain, and support iTrent configuration that impacts rostering.
- To assist in the delivery of iTrent and rostering training throughout MHA.
- Identify and resolve basic problems/fault findings that arise rostering reporting any problems that cannot be resolved to HRIS and / or Payroll colleagues.
- Working with HRIS colleagues provide advice and support in relation to the ongoing use and future developments of the iTrent rostering, and any other required iTrent modules.
- Act as an escalation point for rostering, working to resolve issues in a timely and proactive manner.
- Identify areas for development within rostering and iTrent which will create efficiencies and reduce administrative burden for Operations, Payroll and front-end users.

What we are looking for:
- Knowledge and experience of working with Rostering systems
- Knowledge and experience of working with HR & Payroll systems
- Experience in contributing to IT systems projects
- Experience of delivering systems training and support materials via various methods (face to face, online and documentation).
- Experience of iTrent or other HR/Payroll software
