Alexandra House Residential & Dementia Care Home are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant

Job Type: Permanent | Basis: Part Time | 10 Hours per Week.

About the Role

In your role as a Kitchen Assistant at MHA, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Cook in meeting the nutritional and diet requirements of our residents, which respect their choices of individuals and promotes health and well-being. You will assist in preparing and serving meals for residents and staff and will support the general cleanliness of the kitchen area in accordance with the Food Safety Manual.

About You

The significance of possessing the right values, attitude, and behaviours outweighs the importance of one's previous career background. While having prior experience in catering is desirable, it is not a necessity. We are committed to providing all the necessary training and support to help you succeed in this role. No qualifications are required to start as a Kitchen Assistant; however, basic cooking and cleaning skills are essential for this position.

At Alexandra House we offer Residential Care, Residential Dementia Care, Respite and Short Stay Care for up to 47 residents.
