Accounts Receivable Assistant based at Epworth House, Derby
Permanent - Full Time - 37 hours per week

The role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the Operational Finance team supporting the AR function, ensuring that processes are followed accurately and done within the required deadlines.
As a result of recent updates and restructuring in our finance department, we are thrilled to announce that we have three full-time Accounts Receivable Assistant positions available.
This role requires experienced finance professionals as the responsibilities include Billing / Credit Control / Balance Sheet reconciliations / Period End reporting / Direct Debit Collection / Refund and Cash posting as well as dealing with queries both externally and internally. You must have an understanding of the aged debtors and the ability to read a ledger from our finance software.

The Person
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and to fully understand the transactional finance function.
* Ability to actively engage colleagues to ensure processes are executed consistently and complied with
* 2+ years’ experience within a fast moving finance function
* Excellent communications skills, including corresponding with both internal and external parties in a sensitive and professional manner
* Confident, articulate and passionate about personal and team development
* Enthusiastic and adaptable working style, keen to identify opportunities for improvements
* Excellent IT skills
* Strong intellect combined with attention to detail, well organised and process driven
* Adaptable and keen to learn
* Straightforward, open personality and an enthusiastic, positive attitude
