About the role
Senior nurse roles are designed to influence the quality of the clinical care environment by providing support, educational input and development activities for mentors and ‘learners. Along with support and supervision for Care Practitioner programmes which ultimately lead to practice development and improved services for people using our services.
The provide support the manager and other senior team members in all aspects of the home’s management and service provision. Working within policy guidelines ensuring that all relevant legislation, MHA’s Policies and Procedures and Professional Codes of Practice are adhered to.
The post holder will provide support to members of the team and carries responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of care and setting standards. This will include the delivery of the care practitioner programme to enhance the clinical skills of care practitioners.
