What makes Greenways special?
Where are we?
Situated within the beautiful seaside resort of Bognor Regis, there is always something to do within the local area whether that's exploring the many local parks and gardens, or just relaxing at one of the town's cafés or public houses.
Activities, trips and events
Our beautifully landscaped gardens and patios are lovely areas to relax and enjoy the sunshine. We often like to do arts and crafts outside, while the hair salon offers an opportunity for a spot of pampering.
We have a schedule of optional events and activities, helping residents to explore their interests and discover new ones. There’s music therapy for our residents living with dementia, armchair exercises, baking, quizzes and church services. Residents love our themed events, especially the regular performances from the local theatre company.
We also have regular trips out to go shopping, visit the garden centre and walk along the promenade at the seafront.
Award-winning music therapy
MHA is a leading provider of music therapy in dementia care across the UK. Funded entirely by charitable donations, these award-winning weekly sessions are led by our highly-trained therapists and can have an incredibly powerful and positive impact on a person’s wellbeing.
At Greenways, our music therapist interacts with residents through singalongs, playing simple percussion instruments and responding to musical cues in either a one-to-one or group setting. These sessions often prove to be truly life-enhancing, helping people to unlock special memories and express their feelings and emotions.

Chaplaincy and pastoral support
We are proud to offer discrete and personal support from our in-house chaplain. They provide a listening ear and companionship to those we care for, their families and our colleagues, whatever their faith, background or belief.
Seize the day – unique and memorable opportunities
Funded through charitable support, every MHA care home also prides itself in being able to offer unique and memorable opportunities and activities for residents to quite literally help them 'seize the day'.

Greenways offers care and comfort, compassion and friendship. At the heart of all we offer is our assurance that you will be treated with the respect and dignity that we all deserve, and if you need anything at all, we’re here to help, 24 hours a day.
Whether in the privacy of your own room or relaxing in the company of your friends and neighbours, we will support you to spend your time doing the things you enjoy. Let us know if it’s music, a favourite newspaper, exercise or a spot of pampering at the salon. Landscaped gardens invite you to appreciate the fresh air, or tend the plants, if you wish. There’s a wide range of social events, so you never need to feel bored or lonely.
Greenways has the latest safety and security design features so you can live life to the full with peace of mind.
We encourage our residents to furnish their own rooms as they wish. This could be as simple as hanging a couple of their favourite pictures on the wall, but they’re also welcome to bring their own comfy chair, or anything that makes them feel at home. The most important thing is for everyone to feel comfortable, happy and settled.
We have a mix of room types, including studio rooms with a full en suite wet room and others with an en suite toilet and sink. Some rooms also enjoy lovely garden views. If your loved one enjoys catching up with the latest news, sport, chat shows or soaps, we can provide a TV in their room on request, and there’s WiFi throughout the home.
We have a call system which can be operated by a hand control or a pendant depending on personal preference. All floors are secured by keypad coding to ensure that residents are safe and secure at all times.
Our residential care is all about providing a special kind of home from home. It’s our way of making sure your loved one continues to live life to its fullest and remains as independent as possible. It means they can get out and about when they want to, catch up with friends or pop to the shops, but with the added security and peace of mind that comes from knowing 24-hour support is available if they need it.
Our team are on hand to offer just the right amount of care, giving those who need it support with activities such as bathing, dressing and mealtimes.
Without having to worry about cooking meals, washing clothes or getting the hoover out, you’ll see your loved one truly enjoying life and exploring their full potential.
We’re proud to be recognised for our pioneering approach to dementia care, which is carefully built around each individual. Our dementia facilities here are second to none, and specially designed to provide a reassuringly familiar, engaging and warm environment for those living with us. We have dementia friendly decor and bedroom doors have memory boxes to assist your loved one to find their room. And our dementia areas open into a secure and peaceful garden.
Residents enjoy music therapy and weekly reminiscence therapy, designed to stimulate social interaction and alleviate the feeling of isolation associated with dementia.
Meal times are a special part of the day for you to savour tasty food, freshly cooked by our chef to suit you and any dietary needs. And, of course refreshments are available throughout the day for you and your visitors, who are welcome at any time.
Our highly-trained, dedicated members of staff will always be on hand to provide your care and support in the way that best suits you, in the comfort of your own room with en suite facilities.
We choose the people who work with us very carefully. They need to share our values and respect people, their life experience and personal choices.
We take pride in the cleanliness and maintenance of your home and provide a thorough and friendly cleaning service. Your personal washing will be carefully laundered and returned to you, clean and fresh.
Our team are happy to help you when you are ready to discuss the care and support that you, or your loved one may need. You can call us directly, arrange a tour of our home or submit an enquiry and we’ll contact you.
