Steve Thompson

Steve is Head of MHA Communities, leading the national strategy and delivery of community services that support MHA’s mission of helping people live later life well. He oversees local community hubs and works closely with regional managers and partners to ensure services are safe, sustainable, and centred on the people they serve.

Since joining MHA in 2018, Steve has held several leadership roles, including Live at Home Area Manager for the South East and Commissioning & Partnerships Manager, before taking on his current position in 2022. His career spans social care, community services, and business operations, with leadership experience across the voluntary sector, local government, and the hospitality and events industries.
