About us

For more than 80 years, people have trusted MHA to support their needs and aspirations in later life.

Over 80 years' experience

With MHA, you can be sure that you're choosing a well-respected care provider that has experience in delivering exceptional care and support to older people for over 80 years.

We're a national charity

As one of the very few not-for-profit care providers, we are dedicated to reinvesting any surplus that we may receive back into the services we provide to enable people to live later life well.

Our high standards

We’re dedicated to providing some of the highest quality care and support to older people across Britain - and are proud that this is reflected in our independent care inspection reports.

We nurture the body, mind, and spirit

Our focus on spirituality sets MHA apart from other care providers. Instilled in our values and behaviours, we are uniquely able to understand the importance of finding meaning and purpose in life, even at the end of life.
