Why we’ve updated our employer brand

Across the care sector, recruitment continues to be one of the biggest challenges - particularly in frontline roles. The need for compassionate, skilled people has never been greater, and at MHA we want to ensure that when people consider their next role, we stand out for all the right reasons.

That’s why we’ve refreshed our employer brand: to better communicate what makes working at MHA unique. From the words we use to the stories we share, our new approach helps us show the values that underpin our charity, the sense of purpose our colleagues feel, and the impact they make every day.

And while recruitment is a challenge for the sector, we’re proud that MHA has one of the highest colleague retention rates in care. It’s a testament to the positive culture we’ve built and the way our people feel supported, recognised and valued in their work. This refreshed brand now helps us share that message more clearly with others who may be looking to join us.

You’ll now see this look and feel across all our job adverts, social media channels and recruitment campaigns, helping us connect with people who want to be part of something meaningful.

A new and improved careers website

As part of this update, we’ve also launched a completely redesigned careers website that puts jobseekers at the centre of the experience.

The new site brings together everything someone might want to know about working at MHA - whether you’re interested in care, chaplaincy, catering, housekeeping, corporate services or leadership roles. It reflects our values more clearly, showcases the diversity of our roles, and brings to life the real stories of the people who work here.
