MHA Torrwood celebrates long service of colleagues combining to a wonderful 323 years

A community group in Leamington Spa has raised more than £1,100 for MHA Homewood, a residential care home, following a highly successful Christmas fair. The Friends of Homewood organized the event at the Methodist Church in Dale Street to fundraise for the home, which provides residential care for 50 residents. The fair raised a total of £1,179, which will contribute to the home's amenities fund, supporting activities and trips for the residents.

The Friends of Homewood are a dedicated group of volunteers who spend time with residents, assisting with outings, entertainment, and garden maintenance. Activities coordinator Jackie Tudor expressed her gratitude, saying the event had a fantastic turnout, with over 100 members of the community attending, including family members of residents. The fair featured a raffle, tombola, and stalls selling jewelry, plants, books, and cakes. Tudor thanked the community and the Friends of Homewood for their ongoing support in helping make the event such a success.
