It sounds like MHA Horfield Lodge has been a great fit for Richard and Mary Hurlstone, providing them with a comfortable and supportive environment to live together in their later years. The dual-occupancy suites seem to be a wonderful solution for couples who need care but want to maintain their independence and stay together. It's heartwarming to hear that they have found a space that meets their needs while also allowing them to participate in activities and enjoy some community interaction. The personal connection with the staff and the positive experience of reconnecting with an old friend makes it even more special.
