It’s wonderful that MHA Horfield Lodge is bringing back the “Little Lodgers” sessions! Intergenerational activities like this have such a positive impact, benefiting both the young children and the elderly residents. It fosters a sense of connection, reduces loneliness for the older residents, and provides children with valuable social interactions. It’s great to hear that feedback from the community has encouraged the restart, and that the residents are actively participating by singing nursery rhymes and joining in activities. This seems like a fantastic way to promote community integration while bringing joy to everyone involved!
