It’s fantastic to hear about this initiative! The hydration bags being introduced by MHA Montpellier Manor are a thoughtful and practical solution to ensure that residents have access to nutrition and hydration during their hospital visits. Given the pressure on NHS staff, it’s easy for patients to miss out on basic care like water or a light meal, so these bags are a great way to fill that gap.

The inclusion of fresh sandwiches, fruit, biscuits, and drinks seems like a well-rounded approach to make sure residents stay comfortable while waiting in A&E or other hospital settings. It’s also impressive that the initiative has been successful so far, and they are looking to expand it by printing more bags. It could definitely serve as a model for other care homes.

It seems like the management team at MHA Montpellier Manor is really thinking ahead and prioritizing their residents' well-being in a very proactive and compassionate way.
