The Key to Me programme sounds like a fantastic initiative that’s really making a positive impact at MHA Ty Gwyn! It’s wonderful how something as simple as themed keys can help open doors to more meaningful conversations and deepen the connections between residents, staff, and families.

Mary-Anne Rawle’s experience with the keys as conversation starters is inspiring. It’s clear that these personal, interactive tools are making a real difference, especially for residents who might struggle to communicate. Not only does this enhance the quality of care, but it also brings a more personalized touch, helping to honor the individuality of each resident.

It’s also heartwarming to hear that family members and staff are equally engaged and interested in the programme—it really shows the power of bringing everyone together to improve care and create a stronger community.
