It sounds like Andy and Joan's 71st wedding anniversary was a wonderful and heartwarming celebration at MHA Lauriston! The home clearly went above and beyond to make it a memorable occasion, from arranging a romantic lunch to preparing a beautiful cake. It’s lovely to hear that their family, including their daughters, were involved with thoughtful gifts like flowers and wedding pictures, and that the whole community came together to celebrate such a special milestone.

Andy’s interesting background—his work as an apprentice toolmaker, a Navy petty officer, and his later teaching career, including his time in Nigeria—adds an extra layer of richness to their story. It’s clear that the home cares deeply for its residents and strives to make moments like these meaningful.
