As a Volunteer Befriender you will help improve the quality of life for older people who are socially isolated and may feel lonely. Our befrienders are introduced to an older person with the purpose of them spending an hour or two each visit to bring friendship, company, and a chance to chat. 

Our activities volunteersAs an activities volunteer, you will help us provide a variety of events and activities for older people in our care homes, retirement living, and community groups. You will either assist an activity leader or run your own sessions with support from our colleagues. You can choose from a range of activities, such as arts and crafts, music, games, exercise, gardening, and more.
