Resident at MHA Cromwell House goes on trip down memory lane as part of Seize the Day initiative

MHHA, a subsidiary of MHA, seeks four new Board members to help shape the future of retirement living

A remarkable 104-year-old resident at a London care home has inspired an area manager to lace up his running shoes and join her in raising funds for the home.

Daphne Comber, who lives at MHA Ryelands, is taking on an impressive challenge by walking between 3,000 and 4,000 steps every day throughout July. She is completing her daily walks around the home's garden to raise money for outdoor activities for residents.

Inspired by Daphne's determination, Bobby Brooks, an Area Manager at MHA, pledged to run one mile for every 1,000 steps she completes. Together, the pair hope to raise vital funds to support outdoor-based activities at the home.

A JustGiving page has been set up to support the challenge, with Bobby regularly updating supporters on their progress. So far, more than £700 has been raised.
