MHA to host supporter event at iconic Cheshire venue

A resident at MHA Davids House in Harrow, Dolores Bradbery, marked a remarkable milestone by celebrating her 100th birthday with not one, but two special parties.

Dolores, who has lived at the care home for almost a year, enjoyed celebrations with her nieces, extended family, friends from St Paul's Church, South Harrow, as well as fellow residents and staff. She received around 40 birthday cards, including a treasured congratulatory message from King Charles III.

Staff transformed the conservatory into a festive venue, while the kitchen team baked two birthday cakes that proved a hit with guests. Dolores expressed her gratitude, saying she felt "incredibly lucky" and described the King's card as her favourite keepsake from the occasion.

Ruth Woodford, the home's administration manager, said everyone had a wonderful time celebrating over the two days and described Dolores as "a very popular lady," adding that the successful event was a true team effort
