Birthday celebrations at MHA Moorland House as resident celebrates 100th birthday

Pam Taylor celebrated her 100th birthday at MHA Starr Hills, where she has lived since 2018.

The care home decorated a lounge with birthday balloons and banners, and Pam celebrated with family, fellow residents, and staff. A special highlight was a performance by her favourite entertainer, who came out of retirement to provide live music as a birthday gift. The home's kitchen team also prepared a birthday cake that everyone enjoyed.

Pam, who enjoys arts and crafts and painting and previously worked in retail, received many gifts and cards. According to Emma Falkingham, Pam's favourite gift was a telegram from King Charles III.

Staff described the celebration as a team effort and said Pam was delighted with the arrangements and had a smile on her face throughout the day.
