Care assistant at MHA Ryelands who joined aged 18 marks 30-year service

A care assistant at MHA Weston and Queensway House in Stafford has celebrated a decade of dedicated service, despite having initial doubts about moving into full-time care work.

Charlotte Gittins joined the dementia nursing care home in 2015 after previously working in community care. Unsure of what to expect at the time, she now reflects on a fulfilling 10-year journey.

To mark the milestone, Charlotte was presented with a long service certificate and a gift voucher by the management team.
