A resident of MHA Oak Manor in Shefford, Raymond ‘Ray’ Bloomfield, recently enjoyed a heartfelt journey down memory lane with a visit to the iconic Shuttleworth Collection and Gardens — a trip that brought his Royal Air Force past back to life.

Ray, a former Airman, was joined by fellow resident Jean Proudlove and activity coordinators Lydia Endersby and Kelly Carter as part of MHA’s Seize the Day initiative. The programme encourages residents to revisit cherished memories or try something new that holds special meaning.
