Biddy Hilton, a resident at MHA Moorland House celebrated her 105th birthday

Biddy Hilton, a former RAF sergeant, marked her 105th birthday with an intimate family gathering at MHA Moorland House in Hathersage. Born in Essex, Biddy served in the Royal Air Force Bomber Command during World War II and later worked as a shorthand typist. She eventually settled in Bakewell and has lived at Moorland House for the past nine years.

The care home's kitchen team prepared a special birthday cake, and staff joined Biddy’s children, Marilyn and John, in celebrating the milestone.
