A charity golf day organised by The Big Golf Company has raised over £700 in support of MHA Amathea, a residential and dementia care home in Workington.

Held at Seascale Golf Club, the event featured a series of golf-related competitions, with all entry fees—totalling £750—donated directly to the home. The funds will go towards a full renovation of the home's garden space, including the addition of sensory and herb plants.

Chris North, CEO of The Big Golf Company, chose MHA Amathea as the beneficiary because his 91-year-old mother-in-law, who lives with dementia, is a resident there.
