A senior care assistant at a London care home says having a strong team is essential to running an efficient and supportive environment.

Daisy Calang has worked at MHA Lawnfield House for 14 years, joining the home after moving to the UK from the Philippines. She began her career as a care assistant and progressed into her current senior role in 2014.

MHA Lawnfield House provides residential dementia care for 41 residents. Daisy shared her experiences as part of MHA’s new initiative to highlight the journeys of senior care assistants and what inspired them to grow into their roles.
