Michael Alfred, an 87-year-old lifelong Tottenham Hotspur supporter living at MHA Riverview Lodge, recently enjoyed a nostalgic visit to the area around Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Michael, a former saxophonist who once played with Ronnie Scott and Boney M., frequently reminisces about attending Spurs matches and visiting the old White Hart Lane. After discussing his memories during 1-to-1 sessions with activities coordinator Aly Abdel-Alim, a special trip was arranged through the home’s Seize the Day initiative, which helps residents relive meaningful experiences.

Aly accompanied Michael for an hour-and-a-half tour of the stadium area, where Michael reflected on how much the surroundings had changed. The outing ended with food and a hot drink at the club café. Aly said Michael was thrilled throughout the day and hopes to arrange another visit—this time to watch a live match inside the stadium.
