MHA Brookfield, a residential care home in Oxford, has unveiled a powerful new mural as part of Key to Me—a national initiative launched by Methodist Homes (MHA), the UK’s largest charitable care provider.

Located on the home’s dementia unit, the mural symbolises an open door and serves as the centrepiece of MHA’s new approach to life story and reminiscence work. The Key to Me programme aims to deepen relationships between care workers, residents, and their families by helping staff better understand each individual’s history, passions, and personal needs.

The mural was designed and painted over two days by Brookfield’s Activity Coordinator Victoria Davidson and Chaplain Jane Lees, following Victoria’s completion of the Key to Me training earlier this year.
