More than 60 people attended a Christmas fayre at MHA The Fairways in Chippenham, helping to raise an impressive £740 in just two and a half hours. The event received strong support from residents’ families and local businesses, who collectively donated 62 raffle prizes.

Visitors enjoyed a variety of festive stalls, Santa’s grotto, and a special appearance by Vino, a miniature horse from Happy Hooves Therapy Horses. MHA The Fairways, which provides residential and dementia care for 60 residents, described the event as a great success.

Administration manager Tracey Curd said the team was “very proud” of the fayre and grateful for the community’s support, adding that it was encouraging to see so many people take part. “To raise £740 in two and a half hours is very impressive
