A care home in Leeds, MHA Gledhow, hosted its first-ever Easter Fayre on March 21, opening its doors to the community and inviting local vendors. The event featured a variety of stalls, including Caribbean street food, gifts, cupcakes, and Easter-themed items.

Around 30 visitors attended, and the home raised £93.98 for its amenities fund, which may go toward their recently installed “Jolly Journey Train Experience.” The Caribbean food stall was particularly popular with attendees.

Despite positive feedback on the stalls and overall experience, organizers noted that turnout was lower than expected despite local and online promotion. Deputy manager Charlene Gregory said the event was still considered a success, and the home hopes to host similar events in the future, with a focus on increasing footfall.
