MHA The Herons, a residential care home in Toton, Nottinghamshire, hosted a successful summer fayre, raising an impressive £1,308.48 for its amenities fund. The event welcomed over 60 visitors from the local community and featured activities such as a raffle, tombola, silent auction, and stocks—which proved especially popular.

The fayre received strong support from local businesses, with generous donations and prizes, including contributions from Claire, the community champion at Tesco Toton, and Claire’s Ice Cream, who donated a portion of her sales.

Claire Belshaw, administration manager, expressed gratitude for the community’s involvement and praised the event as a fun, intergenerational gathering. The funds raised will be used to support future trips and activities for the home’s 39 residents.
