MHA Homewood in Leamington Spa is bringing festive sparkle to its grounds this December, inspired by the town’s annual Lantern Parade.

Taking a creative and eco-friendly approach, residents are transforming 100 plastic bottles into handmade lanterns, echoing the spirit of the historic 'Lights of Leamington' and its modern revival, the Lantern Parade that began in 2010.

Leading the charge is 90-year-old resident Pat Dyer, who has hand-painted all 100 bottles with some help from fellow residents. The lanterns will be fitted with battery-operated tea lights and displayed around the home to create a magical festive display.
