“Dream come true, still can’t believe it” says domestic assistant at MHA Ty Gwyn who gets invited to paint at Royal Garden Party

MHA, the nation’s largest charity care provider, is inviting local people to a special networking event at one of West Yorkshire’s most iconic venues later this month.

The event, titled Coffee, Cake and Connection, will take place at Temple Newsam in Leeds on Wednesday 20 May 2026 from 2pm to 3.30pm.

Hosted by MHA’s Charitable Giving Team, the afternoon will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the historic estate’s beautiful grounds while learning more about the charity’s work supporting older people across the region.

Designed to be relaxed and welcoming, the event aims to bring together members of the community who are interested in wellbeing, local support services and the rich history of Temple Newsam.

Guests will also have the chance to meet members of the MHA team and hear more about how the organisation is helping older people to live later life well throughout West Yorkshire.
