Methodist Homes (MHA) welcomed 28 guests to its Coffee, Cake and Connection supporter event at the historic Bramall Hall in Cheshire, offering an insight into the charity’s work and the issues affecting older people.

The event, hosted by MHA’s Charitable Giving Team, gave supporters the opportunity to learn more about the charity’s services and how they can get involved in supporting older people.

Guests heard how MHA’s local services help older people to remain connected, supported and independent, while also learning more about some of the wider challenges facing older people today.

The event also highlighted MHA’s role in the national conversation around the future of adult social care. Guests heard about the charity’s contribution to the Government’s Big Conversation on Care and Baroness Casey’s review of adult social care.

Alongside the presentations, guests enjoyed tea, coffee and cake before hearing more about the history of Bramall Hall and exploring the historic building.
