Christmas comes early at MHA Moorland House as fayre helps to raise more than £380

MHA Morel Court in Penarth is inviting the local community to join them for a festive Christmas fayre aimed at spreading seasonal cheer and raising money for the home’s amenities fund.

The event will take place on Saturday, 6 December, from 11am to 4pm in the home’s main lounge. Visitors will be able to browse a range of stalls offering crafts, decorations, jewellery, and more.

To make the event enjoyable for all ages, an intergenerational focus is planned, including a Santa’s Grotto in the summerhouse for younger attendees.

MHA Morel Court, which provides residential care for 36 residents, hopes for a strong turnout. Activity coordinator Dawn Parsons said the team is looking forward to the day, confident it will be both fun and successful. Refreshments, a raffle, and a tombola will also be available.
