A care home in South London has celebrated its rich cultural diversity with a vibrant Culture Day, bringing together food, music, and traditions from around the world.

MHA Ryelands, which provides residential and dementia care for up to 50 residents, hosted the event as part of Care Home Open Week and MHA’s Music Festival. The home is staffed by individuals from over 25 different countries, and the day was a heartfelt celebration of the global cultures represented within its team.

Staff proudly wore traditional clothing and shared homemade dishes from their native countries, including Nigeria, Jamaica, Brazil, Romania, Sri Lanka, and Scotland. The home was beautifully decorated with flags from every represented nation, sparking conversations and offering opportunities to learn about each other's heritage.
