MHA Stones Place in Lincoln has made an exciting addition to its care home with the purchase of a ‘tiny tablet’—a 40-inch interactive touchscreen device designed to enhance resident engagement and social interaction.

Funded through the home’s amenities fund, which includes generous donations and proceeds from various fundraisers, the tablet is already proving to be a valuable tool for both group-led and one-to-one activities. Though humorously dubbed a "tiny tablet," the large, mobile screen can be tilted and rotated, making it easily accessible for all residents, including those living with dementia or cognitive impairments.

The device comes pre-loaded with a wide range of games, quizzes, and interactive activities. It also supports popular apps like YouTube and Zoom, opening up opportunities for video calls, music sessions, and virtual tours—all from the comfort of the home.
