MHA to host supporter event at iconic Cheshire venue

MHA The Willows celebrated its 31st birthday with an afternoon tea and music therapy session enjoyed by residents, staff and guests.

The dining room was decorated with bunting, balloons and birthday banners for the occasion, while generous donations of cakes and treats were provided by Mobberley Village Bakery, Gail's Bakery and Booths.

More than 40 people attended the celebrations, including Bryan Hartley and former mayor Colin Banks.

Music therapist Vicky Turner led an interactive music therapy session, handing out instruments to residents and staff, with guests joining in enthusiastically.

Activities coordinator Amanda Drayton said the event had a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, adding that residents particularly enjoyed the sweet treats and music session.

Fellow activities coordinator Steph Nixon said she felt proud to be part of a home with such a long history and looked forward to celebrating future milestones.
