Knutsford’s MHA The Willows marked its 30th anniversary on 19th June with a lively celebration full of activities and community spirit.

Since opening its doors in 1995, The Willows has provided general nursing and dementia care for 61 residents. To commemorate three decades of service, the home hosted a special event featuring the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, the planting of a weeping willow and rowan tree, and long service awards presented to two dedicated colleagues with 20 years of service.

One of the dining rooms was decorated with balloons to create a festive atmosphere, and the highlight of the day was a beautiful homemade cake crafted by Deputy Home Manager Stephanie Pickering.

The celebrations were further honored by the presence of Knutsford’s recently elected Mayor, Councillor Bryan Hartley, who participated in official duties, played musical instruments, and joined in a sing-along during a music therapy session.
