Betty Greener, a resident of MHA Lawnfield House, celebrated her 100th birthday this week, marking a century of life filled with resilience, history, and family. Born in Marylebone, Betty has lived at Lawnfield House since 2023 and enjoyed her milestone birthday with close family members and special guests.

Betty’s life story is deeply rooted in history. During World War II, she worked at an opticians factory, producing glasses for soldiers—a vital contribution to the war effort. She shares many stories of those times with staff and residents, reflecting a lifetime of experiences.

On her special day, Betty was joined by her daughter Patricia and other family members. The Mayor of Brent, Ryan Hack, also paid a visit, presenting her with a bouquet of flowers and a card, celebrating her remarkable milestone.
