Residents at MHA The Fairways in Chippenham were thrilled by a special visit from two alpacas, Caramac and Liquorice, courtesy of Alpaca Adventure in Dorset.

The furry duo, accompanied by handler and owner Wendy Williams, strolled through the home and mingled with residents, bringing laughter, smiles, and plenty of cuddles.

This marks the first alpaca visit to the home since the pandemic, as part of MHA The Fairways’ ongoing programme of monthly animal visits. The home provides residential and residential dementia care for up to 60 residents.
