30 under 30: Meet Emily Harvey, care assistant at MHA Langholme who found calling to care after being inspired by carers supporting her family (2/30)

A resident at MHA Stones Place in Lincoln marked her 100th birthday with a joyful garden party surrounded by family, friends, fellow residents and staff.

Eileen Field enjoyed a memorable celebration at the home, welcoming more than 40 guests, including the Mayor of Lincoln, Councillor Clare Smalley, and her son, Darryl Smalley, the City Sheriff.

Originally from Newark, Eileen has lived at MHA Stones Place for more than nine years and is now the home's eldest resident.

The care home was transformed for the occasion with banners, balloons and decorations, while guests enjoyed birthday cake and cupcakes. Adding to the festive atmosphere, Eileen's favourite singer, George Papakyriacou, entertained guests with a live performance, with Eileen happily singing along to many of her favourite songs.

MHA Stones Place provides residential care for 42 residents.
