An inspiring couple from Barnsley, Gordon and Joan Pleasant, recently marked an incredible milestone — their 73rd wedding anniversary — surrounded by family, friends, and fellow residents at MHA Mapplewell Manor.

The couple, who have called the care home their residence for the past two years, enjoyed a heartwarming day filled with love, memories, and celebration. Staff at the home arranged a special afternoon tea in the Sun Lounge, complete with a homemade cake, to honour the occasion.
