Annual two-week music festival extravaganza takes place at MHA Anjulita Court

Staff members at MHA Stratton House to take part in gruelling Tough Mudder challenge to raise funds for home

Residents at MHA Morel Court celebrated a special "Seize the Day" moment when resident Shirley Power fulfilled her wish of walking along the disused Cosmeston Railway Path.

After hearing activity coordinator Dawn Parsons speak about the route, Shirley expressed her desire to visit it. Once the weather improved, Dawn accompanied her on the outing. The pair walked to and from the path, with Shirley covering part of the distance on foot before using her wheelchair for the remainder of the journey.

The visit formed part of MHA's Seize the Day initiative, which encourages residents to revisit meaningful experiences from their past or try something they have always wanted to do.

During the trip, Shirley enjoyed the scenery around the nearby Cosmeston Country Park, particularly one of its lakes and the opportunity to spend time outdoors in the fresh air. The afternoon concluded with a relaxing pot of tea.
