Birthday celebrations at MHA Davids House as resident celebrates 100th birthday

Two devoted care assistants at MHA Charnwood House in Coventry, Susan Miller and Yvonne Lynch, have been recognised for their long service, each celebrating 10 years of commitment to MHA.

Susan, who previously spent eight years at MHA Allesley Hall before its closure, said she was drawn to the organisation by its high standards of care. “Receiving the recognition award was a surprise—I felt really honoured and even cried,” she shared.

Yvonne, who retired earlier this year but continues to support the home on a bank basis, reflected on her journey: “I’ve made lots of friends and built strong relationships with residents. I just love the job.”

To mark the milestone, Home Manager Claire Picchi presented both with certificates, flowers, chocolates, and gifts in a special ceremony attended by residents and staff.

MHA Charnwood House provides residential dementia care for up to 65 residents and continues to uphold its strong reputation for compassionate and professional care.
