John and Sue Rowe, residents at MHA Handsworth in Altrincham, recently enjoyed a heartwarming return to a cherished venue as they attended a special music event at The Bridgewater Hall — a place they frequently visited in the past to watch the Hallé orchestra perform.

The visit was made possible through Access All Ages, an intergenerational music event hosted by Intergenerational Music Making and Intergenerational England, celebrating the power of music, connection, and community across generations.

Accompanied by activity coordinator Charlotte Fowke, the couple took part in a morning of live music, sing-alongs, and even contributed to the recording of a song created by the group. The event featured attendees ranging in age from infancy to 90 years old, embodying its mission of uniting five generations through music.
