Birthday celebrations at MHA Davids House as resident celebrates 100th birthday

Residents, staff, and visitors at MHA Heather Grange in Burnley enjoyed a taste of the Wild West during their recent themed summer fete, raising over £500 for the home's amenities fund.

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, the fete was held outdoors and attracted a great turnout. Attendees donned cowboy hats and scarves, embracing the fun country vibe.

The event featured classic summer fete activities such as a tombola, raffle, various stalls, and live entertainment. Staff members enthusiastically manned the stalls and flipped burgers, while the kitchen team delighted everyone with an array of delicious cakes and treats.

In total, the fete raised £539.85. These funds will go towards the home’s amenities fund, supporting activities and outings for residents.

MHA Heather Grange provides residential and dementia care for 70 residents.
