About the Role
Your role as a Community Volunteer Gardener will be to help with a community garden project, this will include tidying beds, weeding, lawn mowing and other gardening jobs as required, within agreed parameters.

You will receive ongoing support and guidance from a local coordinator. You will also have access to online resources, training opportunities, and peer support from other volunteers.

About you
- You will have some gardening knowledge and skills, although this can be basic
- You will have good communication skills
- We would love it if you came with experience of garden maintenance, but it's not essential
- You will be able to be flexible
- You'll have an awareness of older people in the community
- You'll have a passion for people, and gardening
- A commitment to health and safety within the volunteering environment
