Our impact

Together, we help older people live later life well, with care, community, friendship and support that makes it matter.

A future that matters

Every day, MHA supports older people to live later life well. From care and compassionate support, to friendship, community groups and meaningful activities, we help people feel safe, valued and connected.

We support over 16,000 older people across our care homes, retirement living settings, community groups and befriending services.

Thanks to the support of 2,400 volunteers, we’re creating a future that matters, one person, one conversation, and one moment of connection at a time.

Connection that changes lives

Loneliness can affect anyone, and it can quietly grow over time. But with the right support, that can change.

MHA Communities helps older people build friendships, stay active, and feel part of something again. 10,000 older people are supported through our community services.

Because when someone feels connected, everything feels possible again.

Leave a gift in your will

After you’ve taken care of loved ones, a gift in your will can help create a future that matters. Your legacy can support older people for generations to come.

Philanthropy and major gifts

A major gift can create lasting change. Help strengthen communities, tackle loneliness, and improve later life for older people in the ways that matter most to you.
