Your role as a Community Volunteer Gardener will be to help with a community gardening project at The Hut, Airedale. This will involve tidying beds, weeding, lawn mowing and other gardening jobs as required, within agreed parameters.

A volunteer driver is someone who helps our residents to access health appointments and shopping trips.

To support the MHA services at local events; distributing information, event equipment set up/take down and encourage donations / participation from the attendees.

Volunteer Befrienders provide support and friendship to older people who may be feeling lonely or isolated.

As a Volunteer Befriender you will help improve the quality of life for older people who are socially isolated and may feel lonely. Our befrienders are introduced to an older person with the purpose of them spending an hour or two each visit to bring friendship, company, and a chance to chat.
