I am thinking of asking for donations to MHA or one of our services in lieu of flowers. Can I give the donations to the funeral directors to send to you?

Accepted Answer

Yes, your funeral director will happily support your choice of charity. Simply tell your funeral director you’d like donations towards MHA, name the specific home or MHA Communities Scheme / Collaborative Community and they will forward it to us. We will honour your wish for your loved one.

I am a funeral director, where do I forward on donations for MHA generally or for one of your homes or MHA Communities / Collaborative Communities?

Please visit our paying in your fundraising money page for for options to donate directly to MHA.

Methodist Homes (MHA) is subscribed to most online giving platforms that support donations, including MuchLoved, Memory Giving, Love2Donate, InMemory (Donatis) and JustGiving. If you have any trouble finding us on any of these platforms or if you belong to another service please contact our fundraising team.

Please remember to mention the full name of the MHA service or project the family would like the money forwarding too if they have a specific request.

Question 3

I wish for my donation to go to a specific MHA project, service, care home, retirement living scheme or MHA Communities / Collaborative Community, how do I do this?

Accepted Answer

When donating or speaking to your funeral director, remember to mention the full name of the MHA home or community or the particular project / service you’d like to support. We will ensure they receive the donations safely or spend it on the project requested.

I’d like to speak to someone about my donation, who do I contact?

To speak to us about making a donation in memory of a loved one, please contact our fundraising team.

Can I set up a direct debit?
