How Finding Nana came to life
Launching Finding Nana
The children’s book project ‘Finding Nana’ was championed by the late Crispian Acher until his unexpected death in August 2023. Finding Nana now becomes Crispian’s legacy to MHA. These are his words telling the story of bringing Finding Nana to life.
A very easy and compelling read. The main and immediate discussion we had afterwards was, will Jess' nana go into a home? And the beauty of the book was that if she does, it hopefully won't be an unknown and frightening experience for Jess.
Kate - mum of Jess, aged 8 years old.
