Keeping you in touch

We’re dedicated to connecting our residents with their families and loved ones.

How we keep you connected

Face-to-face visits

Nothing can replace the joy of seeing your loved ones in person. We encourage you to visit them as often as you can, following the safety guidelines of our care homes. We believe that face-to-face visits are vital for the wellbeing of both our residents and their families and friends. If you are unable to visit them physically, don’t worry. You can still talk to them online by contacting your care home and arranging a video call.

Resident & relatives meetings

Your voice matters to us. We want to hear your opinions and suggestions on how we can improve the care and support we provide to your loved one. That’s why we hold regular meetings with our residents and their relatives, either in person or via video call. You can also share your feedback through our annual survey. We value your input and we use it to make positive changes in our care homes.

Social media

Do you want to see what your loved ones are up to in our care homes? You can do that by following their care home’s Facebook page. There, you will find photos and videos of the everyday activities and events in the home. You can also follow MHA on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram to keep up with our news and updates.

Residents discussing Famileo

Famileo app & Gazette newsletters

We have a special app for you and your loved ones to stay in touch. It’s called Famileo and it’s very easy to use. You can download it on your phone or tablet and use it to post messages and photos about your life. Your loved ones will receive a weekly newsletter, called the ‘Famileo Gazette’, with your messages and photos printed on it. They will love reading your news and seeing your pictures. They can also keep the newsletters to read them again later.

The app also allows you to receive messages and photos from your loved ones and their care home. You can choose to get updates from all the residents and staff, or just from your loved one. This way, you can stay informed and involved in their care and wellbeing.
